DEA Bedford Over 30

The Pacers showed up with numbers and Danvers showed with 8. After a few players left we decided we could still have a game. The Pacers got on the board early with goals from the scoring machine, Bertie O'Gorman, who had two, Scott Sharby, Steve Elias, and John "this can't be my first goal" Guild. The Danvers crew did a good job scoring twice in the second half against the lackadaisical Pacers squad. Their first goal fooled our keeper, Chris Cloutier, as it found the far netting on a cross. The second goal was due to unmarked players in the backfield. Steve Bicknell found it necessary to dance with one of the Danvers defenders and the two were ejected from the game. It is unfortunate for the Pacers will now loose two points in the standings. A Quick check of the results have found that Billerica lost to Hollis in their final game. So if the Pacers beat the Peobody team, they will end up in second place and a trip to the playoffs.... Stay posted for game updates.
