Jeff Baileys Hat Trick Leads Pacers Over Peobody 5-3

Jeff Bailey would register 3 goals on Sunday to lead the Pacers to a 5-3 victory over the Peobody Sporting Club. The game, that was slated to start at 9 AM, got underway at 9:30. The Pacers starting with 10 players and Peobody with 8. The Pacers would get there 11th player soon after the start and Peobody would grow to nine. However, the Pacers would hop out to a 2-0 lead on two of Jeff's three goals, one via penalty kick. Aproximately 20 minutes into the first half, both teams were at full strength and Peobody would have three subs to the Pacers none. Peobody would get a goal back to bring the score to 2-1 before Louie Correai would score for the Pacers. The Sporting club would answer with two goals and the momentum going into the second half with the score tied at 3 a piece. Scott Sharby would end the momentum swing as he netted his first of the day. The score would remain at 4-3 for quite a while with Peobody pressuring to tie. Scott Sharby would find Jeff Bailey open up the center of the field to seal the victory for the Pacers. The Pacers travel to Billerica to take on the Rovers on their postage stamp sized field with 6" grass, Akerson Field at 11 AM. The Pacers took a beating here in the spring and will not repeat this performance. We need at least 13 players to make the trip. Email your availability ASAP. With this win, the Pacers move up to third place behind Hollis and Lowell. The Pacers have a good chance to win their last three games if they can get numbers to the games. SO SHOW UP !!!!!!
