DEA Bedford Over 30

The Bedford Pacers ended their well played season on a sour note, with a 6-2 loss to the Newton Limited club. The Pacers never could get things going on the very short field. Bedford would fall behind early and never recover. Bedford would show some life in the second half and score a couple. Paul Cote would thow the ball in to Dale Dubois, who would turn it inside with a pass to Scott Sharby. Scott would hit a left footer into back netting. Jeff Bailey would follow this with a finish from Bertie O'Gorman to bring the score to 4-2. However, Newton would counter with two more to end the Pacer hopes. The Pacers will be moving to Division 2 in the fall. Congratulations to all the Pacer Players for a fine season. Management will be reviewing contracts over the summer break. We will get together in early August to kick the ball around. Have a Great Summer......
