The Mavs started out strong offensively in the first inning as Grant Allgire doubled to drive in Jimmy Pierce. Chris Brookey doubled to drive in Allgire, Cole Ducey and Rusty Leedy. Michael Cruz threw four strong innings with a solid defense behind him. Michael Snider and Tyler Korn pitched in relief. Westview tied the game in the fifth and took the lead in the 7th. The Mavs rallied but weren’t able to score in the bottom of the 7th.
