LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

The Mavericks lost 4-3 to Mt. Carmel on Tuesday. Starter Jack Davidson (3K, 2BB) had a solid performance on the mound allowing one earned run on five hits in five innings. Chris Brookey (2K, 0BB) pitched in relief allowing one run on two hits in one inning of work. Grant Allgire (2-4, HR, 2B, 3RBI) led the Mavs offense. The Mavs scored three runs on Allgire’s 5th inning deep shot over the left field fence. The Sun Devils capitalized on defensive errors and seven hits to score four runs for the win. The Mavs play Rancho Bernardo on Thursday.
