The Mavericks moved their league record to 7-0 on Thursday as they defeated the El Camino Wildcats 9-2. Michael Kenney pitched five innings of one hit ball to earn his 6th win on the year. Brian Brehm relieved Kenney allowing two runs on one hit. The game was broken open when Scott Clement pinch hitting for Nick Burke hit a bases loaded single down the left field line. The single scored two runs and opened the flood gates for a seven run inning. The Mavericks move to 20-1 on the season. They also remained the #1 team in the state for the second week.
