LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

Sometimes a team fires on all cylinders, and this was that kind of a night for the Mavericks.  Colin Winters pitched four excellent innings, giving up no runs and at one time striking out five consecutive batters.  Keats Ewing and Manny Casas provided relief as the Mavericks won the game with a score of 18 to 1.

The hitting started early and continued for the duration of the game as LCC posted 21 basehits in the game.  Hitters included Addy, Allmaras, Baere, Casinelli, Curtis, Ewing, Johnson, Lesinski, Marinos, Miller, Morris, Solomon, Theriault, and Winters.  Marinos and Theriault both hit homeruns to add further excitement to the slugfest.

The boys are now positioned at 2-0 in the Pacific Classic Tournament with Great Oaks next on the slate.
