LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

After taking the lead against a tough Vista team in the bottom of the fifth inning, two Maverick miscues in the top of the sixth gave the Panthers the lead back for good.  Kyle Hogencamp and Weston Corica pitched well in relief of Krassny.  Offensively the boys scratched out only 3 hits and 4 runs against the Panthers junior hurler who had a perfect game going into the fifth inning.   Hits were recorded by McMahon, Healy and Corica. The JV squad will have to battle in order to earn a berth in the North County Tourney championship game.
