LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

The JV squad lost a heartbreaker to Torrey Pines yesterday.  The game was a pitchers dual through 6 innings.  Tanner Gage pitched 6 strong innings allowing only 1 run on 2 hits.  Offensively the Mavs were paced by Danny Martin who Homered and tripled.  Skyler Redondo chipped in with 3 hits of his own including a triple.  In the end the Mavs took it on the chin with a tough extra inning loss.
