Max McNabb blanked the Grizzlies over 7 innings, allowing just one hit and striking out 8, despite taking a line drive off of his leg in the 2^nd inning. The offense struggled, however, posting no runs in the first 8 innings on just 3 hits. Going into the 9^th tied 0-0, La Costa finally got on the board with 1 run on 3 straight singles by Will Swanner, Garrett Hughes and Matt Lindberg picking up the RBI. The Mavs defense was unable to hold on in the bottom of the frame, allowing 2 runs on a walk, a double, and RBI ground out, and an RBI walk-off single. The 1-2 loss puts the Mav record at 15-3.
