LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

The second Avocado League game went to the Maverick JV squad 7-2.  Tanner Gage took to the mound, throwing 5 strong innings, striking out 5.  Jason Guendert pitched the final 2 innings, fanning 2.  The offense got the job done with 2 doubles each from Danny Martin and Weston Corica. McMahon, Schupp, Vera and Healy contributed with singles. Lyon did the job with a sacrifice fly.  The boys will look for the sweep friday at LCC.
