MAVERICKS TRAVEL TO RANCHO BERNARDO FOR THIRD ROUND GAME

La Costa Canyon rebounded to knock out Avocado East League champion San Marcos 6-2. On Saturday 5-26 at 11:00 am the Mavericks travel to Rancho Bernardo to play the Palomar League Champion in the Third Round of the CIF Open Division. The Mavericks have played in the Open Division of the CIF Playoffs every year since it was created and you expect to play League Champs.
Torrey Pines, the Avocado West League champ, edged the Mavericks 4-3 in the first round and then clipped Rancho Bernardo 6-3 in the second round match up.
Poway defeated Cathedral Catholic 8-3; and Eastlake shut out Helix 5-0.
