LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

The Mavericks faced another tough Junior hurler in this contest.  The boys clawed out only 5 hits by Martin, Healy, McMahon, Guendert and Armstrong.  The Mav pitchers pitched well enough to win but the offense was kept in check all day.  Andrew Hinkle went 4 2/3 innings allowing 3 earned runs, with Dillon Thomison finishing it out with 2 1/3 scoreless frames. The JV will look to get back on track Monday against a tough Torrey Pines team in the first game of the Pacific Classic.
