The top four seeds for the 2002 playoffs: No. 1 Montgomery No. 2 Rancho Buena Vista No. 3 La Costa Canyon No. 4 Rancho Bernardo The next eight seeds which play on Monday May 20th to determine which four join the Double Elimination part of the CIF PLAYOFFs No. 5 Granite Hills No. 6 Fallbrook No. 7 Mt. Carmel No. 8 Valhalla No. 9 Torrey Pines No.10 Chula Vista No.11 Poway No.12 San Diego La Costa Canyon (No.3) is in the same bracket with No. 2 seeded Rancho Buena Vista. The No.1 seeded Montgomery is in the same bracket with No.4 seeded Rancho Bernardo. La Costa Canyon will play at home on Tuesday May 21st at 3:30pm against the winner of the Monday game between Fallbrook and Poway. Rancho Buena Vista will play the winner of the Mt.Carmel v Chula Vista game. On Thursday May 23rd the team with the highest seed will be the home team.
