The Mavericks won 6-0 against Scripps Ranch today in Game Four of the Falcon/Pirate Tournament. Chris Brookey pitched 7 shut out innings, allowing 0 hits and 4K. The Mavs jumped out to an early 5 run lead in the first inning and added 1 run in the 3rd. Players with multiple hits include Aaron Markham (3-4, 2 RBI), Grant Allgire (3-4, 2B, 1 RBI), Rusty Leedy (2-3, 2 RBI) and Brookey (2-4, 1 RBI). Senior Brian Martutartus led the defense with five defensive assists. The next tournament game is at home on Wednesday against San Pasqual at 3:15.
