New and Improved Minor League

Posted by Steve Elliott at Jan 16, 2003 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
Managers from numerous Milwaukee County baseball leagues are currently in discussions to create a new foundation and structure for the County's baseball leagues. The desire is to create better competitive balance within each league and promote the game we love so much that we pay to play. Stay posted to this site for updates. As proposals are ratified, details will be announced. For now, players are encouraged to begin their individual preparations for the upcoming season. Training has never been as important as it is now. Remember, skills are not constant; they are either improving and becoming more refined, or they are deteriorating. Just look at me for motivation!

Jake Koutnik named Field Manager

Posted by Steve Elliott at Dec 15, 2002 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
The West Allis Nationals are pleased to introduce infielder, Jake Koutnik, as the team's new field manager. Koutnik, the team's second baseman, will assume gameday lineup and roster responsibilities. Koutnik begins his ninth season in 2003, and is coming off his finest offensive season ever. Koutnik offers competitiveness and toughness to a squad that fell one game short of a third consecutive county championship. Team business responsibilities will continue to be handled by Steve Elliott.
