Nationals sponsor, Cesar's Inn, has agreed to host a season opening tailgate party following the first annual Old Timers/Hall of Fame Game. Festivities will be held at the tavern on 55th and National Avenue in West Milwaukee and will include food and drink. All players, sponsors, and fans are welcome to attend and kick off what looks to be another successful campaign. Questions? After suffering 3 tough losses in the first three games of 2002, the Nationals rally to overcome a 5-0 deficit with eight runs in the seventh inning. The Nationals will play 20 Milwaukee Independent League opponents and 10 State opponents in 2003. Milwaukee Independent League playoffs are slated to begin on August 9.
