Nats down Kings

Danny Putnam had 4 hits and 2RBI and Curt Pryal had 3 hits and an RBI to help lead the Nationals to a hard fought 10-6 victory over the Kenosha Kings on Tuesday night.

It was a game that featured missed chances by both sides.   Kenosha stranded 15 baserunners and the Nationals stranded 13.   It was not til the 9th inning that the Nationals were able to set down the Kings in order.

Many chipped in for the Nationals on the mound.   Mitch Lochen went the first three innings before giving way to Matt Soderlund.   In his Nationals pitching debut Soderlund earned the victory going two innings and allowing two runs.  Alex Kingsley followed with a scoreless frame before giving way to Geraldo Matos.   Curt Pryal pitched the final two innings to earn his second save of the year.

Next up for the Nationals are the Sheboygan A's.    The Nats head to Sheboygan on Friday night for a 7:30pm game.
