After finishing the round robin with a record of 1-2 (VELA got their first win of the season), VELA was ranked 3rd.
VELA played against JDF (#2) to see who would go to the gold medal game.
Hard hitting and loose ball control led VELA to a 7-4 win.
VELA triumphed over Saanich for the gold medal with a score of 5-4. Tough play and strong defence were critical in the win.
