Hello Team!

First off, Congrats to you and all the cheerleaders on their 1st place win at States!

We practice Wednesday and Thursday @ the Armory …. Thursday is Battle Theme Practice!! (Wear your camo or all black!) If you missed last Sunday’s game, we have pink bow and raffle tickets for you!

On to our next comp!

If you have been chosen as a volunteer, you received an email from Sade with description of your duties. Please reach out with any questions or conflicts …

Parents – Wear your garnet and grey! Make signs! Have fun!

Saturday 10/12 at the Fieldhouse in New Haven (480 Sherman Parkway)

Athletes need to arrive by 800am. Look for your coaches at the athlete entrance
Cheerleaders should be in FULL UNIFORM when you drop them off to us (skirt and shell, body liner, boy shorts, white no show socks, cheer sneakers, hair in a high bun with comp bow). We do not have any extra competition bows available.
NO JEWELRY OR NAIL POLISH!! Please take off all jewelry before comp as coaches are not responsible for lost items. Make sure your athlete has eaten something prior to drop off. Please wear warm up jacket over uniforms (or a zip up/button up in team colors). Send a water with their name on it, but please avoid large bags and extra items as the girls will be responsible to carry their belongings.
Coaches will be with the girls at the entrance and will remain with them until we perform. We are scheduled to take the mat at 1024am. Once the girls perform, we will head off mats and into lobby and parents can meet up with their child. You may take your child to enjoy some snacks/shopping, but we ask that you meet back up with us at concession area for 1130am so we can head to awards as a team.

Admission is $25 CASH ONLY at the door. There will be vendors and merchandise for sale and a 50/50 raffle.

If you owe CD money, please hand it in ASAP!

As for Sunday’s game ….

We are at home on 10/13
We have been asked to cheer for the u12 game
Kick off is at 1pm … Cheerleaders report for 12pm.
Don’t forget to wear your PINK bows!
Wear your uniform, boy shorts, liner, white sneakers, warm ups, or outerwear in team colors.

As for practices going forward, plan for Monday/Wednesday/Saturdays through to Regionals.

I know everyone has Disney questions and concerns, we will schedule a Disney meeting soon, but we want to through our league competition first. There is some Disney info and pricing online already. I will have LOTS of info to share!
