Hello Lady Titan LAX Family.

The final schedules are posted and uploaded into our Teampages calendar for both Varsity and JV games. I have also attached a pdf version of the schedules in this email. I was asked if there was a way to copy a calendar item into Outlook, Google Calendar or iCal. If you go into Teampages, go to the Calendar page and click on a certain event. You should see the icons on the top-right of the page with all of the options on how to export to the different calendar options. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Also, we still have one Team Feeding date unaccounted for (3 APRIL) if anyone is interested in hosting a feeding. Here’s what we have so far:

Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

I hope everyone is enjoying Spring Break this week. Thankfully, our weather is starting to act like Spring, so maybe this is a good sign. Here are a couple of things to note in preparation for next week:

- We will start our league games next week with only one league game on Wednesday the 27th versus our crosstown rivals at LS North HS. I have attached an aerial map for all of the first-year players and parents so you’ll know where to park and how to get to the stands for the game. (see attached)

Also, as of today, we are still scheduled to play the Omaha/Des Moines teams next Friday & Saturday (29th & 30th). This may change considering all of the disastrous flooding that is happening in their area, so if we have to cancel, I’ll let you know.

CALL TO ARMS: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
- As of today, we have 2 volunteers to help out with Senior Night on 22 APRIL. Thank you to Ronda Brown (Ava’s mom) and Jana De Valle (Morgan’s mom) for offering to help.
- The LSW Lacrosse Board has asked for volunteers to help plan and run the end-of-season lacrosse banquet as well. Per last week’s Board meeting, there are already 7 volunteers from the Boy’s team…as you know, I want to make sure our team pulls our weight when it comes to events that are club-wide. If you can help, please let me know so we don’t force the Boy’s team parents to take the brunt of weight when it comes to running the banquet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As we head into our last week of practice before Spring Break, we have a lot of work to do.
Here is what is coming up for this week:

Monday 11 March – Outdoor practice today. Our practice field is the first field right behind the tennis courts. Please make sure to dress accordingly as it will get cooler as practice progresses through the evening.

Tuesday 12 March – We will practice at the Aux Gym at 5pm due to rain.

Wednesday 13 March – Meet at the LSW Commons at 5pm due to rain.

Thursday 14 March – Meet at the LSW Commons at 5pm due to rain. Also, LSW Lacrosse Board Meeting will be at the LSW Library & Media Center at 7pm. All are welcome to attend if you are interested in the inner-workings of our lacrosse board.

As for our schedule for “Team Feedings”, here’s our breakdown of who has signed up, and we are down to one open date that still needs a volunteer.

Lady Titan LAX Family,
Well, it’s hard to imagine that we are in the “Spring” season when we are sitting at 0-degree temps and having yet another day off of school due to weather, but we will get through this. As of right now, I do not have any direction on what indoor facilities our team will have for this week, so we are planning on meeting at the LSW Commons every day at 5pm for practice unless told otherwise.

Here is what is coming up for this week:
Monday 4 March – Possible indoor practice at the LSW Commons. I still need confirmation from LSR7 that we are permitted to have practice tonight due to schools being closed due to temps.

Tuesday 5 March – Meet at the LSW Commons at 5pm.

Wednesday 6 March – Meet at the LSW Commons at 5pm.

Thursday 7 March – Meet at the LSW Commons at 5pm.

Last week during my haste to keep our Parent Meeting I forgot to ask for volunteers for our annual Senior Night festivities. Our tentative date would be 22 APRIL when Park Lacrosse comes to LSW to play us. I would prefer that parents of Seniors not volunteer as this night is about your daughter and you. If any parent of Freshmen – Juniors who wish to help out, please reach out to me directly. By my records, we have 17 Seniors, so we will have a lot to do, and any help would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested, please let me know.
