Happy New Year Lady Titan LAX Family,

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Now that we are back to the grind, I wanted to let everyone know what’s going on for this week:

Wednesday 8 JAN @ 7pm – LSW LAX Board meeting at the LSW Library. Attendance is optional unless you are a member of the Board. We are always looking for volunteers, so if you are interested in donating your time and talent, please show up to the meeting and let us know! Everyone is welcome!

Sunday 12 JAN @ 5pm – Week 2 of 8 of our indoor sessions at Lakeland Community Church. I understand that the Chiefs game is at 2pm, so the game will be ending around 5pm. At the end of our conditioning session last night, I told the players that I would be at the church at 5pm if anyone wishes to be there while the Chiefs game is most likely in the 4th quarter, or they can show up late after the game is over.

Last night we had about 45 girls at our indoor session, so we have a packed house and are getting down to business to prepare us for the Spring season. I do want to let everyone know of our major priorities for this season so everyone is prepared.

1: Conditioning – we will be working hard to be a better conditioned team all around. This has proven useful time and time again where we would win games late in the 2nd half because we are better conditioned…

2: Stick skills – as a team, every player has to be comfortable with the ball in her stick, and every player must have the stick skills to make the necessary plays to help us win games…so we will work hard on cradling, passing, catching and ground balls.

On another note, I want to express my appreciation to Claudia Boosman for helping us out last night and collecting the payments from the players. I can’t thank her enough for the help.

Good Morning Lady Titan LAX Family,

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last reached out. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. As we come to the close of 2019, I wanted to get back into the swing of things. Here is what’s coming up for all of us in the upcoming week:

- Tuesday 31 DEC: New Year’s Eve – Everyone have fun and be safe!
- Sunday 5 JAN: Our first night of indoor lax at Lakeland Community Church. We will be practicing from 5pm – 7pm. We will also start our conditioning regimen to work off all of the holiday meals and treats, so come ready to work! Also, if you have extra equipment, please bring it just in case we have a new player without a stick.

Now for a couple of housekeeping items:

- Make sure your US Lacrosse Memberships are up-to-date and valid through at least 1 JUNE 2020.
- Make sure you have a valid sports physical on file on the PRIVT website. (see attached How-to document)
- Make sure you have paid all fees if you still owe any from registration.

Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

Registration is over…and as of right now, we have 49 players signed up to play next spring. Here is the breakdown of our new family for Spring 2020:

24 New Players
25 Returning Players

12 – 9th grade
9 – 10th grade
20 – 11th grade
8 – 12 grade

I would like to personally welcome every new parent and new player to our Lady Titan Lacrosse family. My hope is that every one of you feels welcome in our tight-knit group of players and parents. I would like to think you are now part of something special, and I hope all of you feel the same way.

Here is what is coming up for our team:

Christmas Break – Enjoy your time off. I like to think of it as the “calm before the storm”, because once we move into the new year, it’s all about the upcoming Spring season, and we are going 100% until mid-May

- 5 JAN 2020 5pm – 7pm : First day of Indoor Sessions at Lakeland Community Church. Cost is $80 and we need payment on the first night so we can pay the church for the field rental. We are expecting a full house as we are going to have players from the LSHS team join us as well, so come ready to run, and come ready to work.

Now, for some housekeeping items:
- Based on registration, there are several of you who still need to renew/update your US Lacrosse memberships. Please do that as soon as you can.
- Based on registration, there are several of you who still need to bring your registration payments to Mrs. Boulden. That needs to be taken care of ASAP.
- And if you still need to upload your Sports phyisical to PRIVT, make sure that is taken care of before 2 MARCH.

If you fall into any (or all) of these 3 housekeeping items, please make every effort to complete them as soon as you can. I don’t want to be in a position to turn a player away at the first practice on 2 MARCH because these tasks were not completed.
