Rams edge Vogie, 9-6!
After falling behind 3-0 in the first inning, LSA tied the game in the third inning on a three-run home run by Caden Calabro.
The Rams’ offense would add six more runs over the next three innings for pitcher Domenic McNeil, who allowed only one run in 5 2/3 innings of relief.
For Vogie, Caton and Parker would combine for three runs on three hits each.Smithfield defeats EG, 10-5!
Smithfield came back from a 4-0 deficit to beat East Greenwich on Saturday (7-9-22) 10 to 5.
Bulldogs edge Flood, 4-2!
In a very well played game, the Cranston Bullogs defeated Flood Ford 4-2 today (7-9-22).
As it has all year, Cranston scored early with two runs on three hits in the first inning.
From there, it settled into a pitchers duel.
Anthony DeCotis, who gave up only two runs on three hits, . struck out six batters to earn the victory.
The Bulldogs, who are now 7-0 (14 points), stay two points ahead of West Warwick, who is 5-4 with 12 points.Lions win two games this week!
The Lions won two games over the week. On Wednesday, they defeated Warwick PAL, 8-1, and today (7-9-22), they surged past Westerly, 8-2.
Kaiser leads Avengers past Knights, 5-2!
Bodie Kaiser struck out 10 batters and gave up only four hits in six innings to lead the EG Avengers over the Knights of East Providence.
