Provoyeur’s timely two-run single in the top of the fifth inning gave WW a 3-1 lead and Condon (13 strikeouts) did the rest by retiring nine consecutive batters over the last three innings.

Series tied 1-1

The Cranston Bulldogs exploded for six runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the series at 1-1 with a 9-4 victory over Westerly .

AJ Greene and Shawn Roche had key two-run singles to spark the comeback.

Anthony DeCotis allowed just two hits over the first six innings and Matt Talabac held off Westerly in the seventh inning.

Game Two: West Warwick 4 Chariho 1
West Warwick wins the series, 2-0.

Led by the outstanding three-hit pitching of Ty Condon, West Warwick advanced to the semifinals with a 4-1 victory.

Condon, who earned First Team All-Division honors pitching for the Wizards this spring, struck out thirteen batters in a complete game effort. Out of 98 pitches, he threw 69 strikes.

Down 1-0 in the top of the fifth inning, West Warwick scored three runs on hits by Ty Condon (lead off single), Logan Dean, Zack Lawrence (rbi double ) and Dylan Provoyeur who produced a two-run seeing eye single to pull West Warwick ahead, 3-1.

For Chariho, they received hits from Alan Carpenter (1/3, 2 stolen bases), Adam Carpenter (1/3, one double and one run scored) and Jakob Jemal (rbi single).
