We have reserved a block of rooms at the Microtel in Sudbury for April 14, 15, and 16. You can book the Thursday night and then decide if you want to cancel it based on our schedule once we receive it. Cancelation policy is to cancel before 4pm on day of arrival. Price 139.00/night. I have requested a later time for Friday’s games but they cannot guarantee. I will post the schedule as soon as it’s available.

Good evening parents,

After much consideration, the coaching staff has made the decision to cancel our Kapuskasing tournament. Not all families were on board to go and we were having issues with the hotel block reservation (too many risky conditions and some were added as late as yesterday even after contract was signed ex; needing to book 2 nights to get the rate, 7 day cancelation policy etc). Please call and cancel your hotel reservation if you have already booked, I will contact the manager tomorrow to let her know that we are closing the block but you will have to cancel your rooms if you have booked. I am worried that she will add more conditions if I cancel the block so please cancel your rooms as soon as possible.

Also, we are still working on finalizing the budget (waiting for revised team fees) and once we have the amount, you will be updated and refunded for any money that was not spent.

The team photo will take place on Feb 13th 6:30PM sharp outside the Mac; right before our 7PM game. Ideally the kids will have their gear on minus helmet and skates. This was the only time available. For kids that missed their individual photo, they can take their photo after the Feb 13th 12PM practice as the photographer will be doing the team after us at that time (1PM).

Considering the COVID situation and to avoid having jersey issues in the future, the team jerseys will remain with the players at the end of every game moving forward. Parents will be responsible for getting the funk out of their own kids jerseys from now on. Jerseys will still need to be returned to TMHA at the end of the year.

Lots of hockey this weekend. Bring your cowbells and noise makers…let’s cheer on our team!!!
