Warwick PAL defeated Coventry 4-3 on a two-out walk-off hit by Tyler Cote.

Devin Farrell pitched 5 strong innings and Matt Colvin had 2 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win.

Also, Mason Link had two rbi’s for Warwick.

Vogie starter Andrew Jones held the Rams scoreless over 4 innings of work, scattering 3 hits while striking out nine batters to lead them to a 5-1 victory.

The Rams threatened in the sixth with three back to back singles and a hit batter to bring in their first run of the game.

However, with the bases loaded and no outs, reliever Dayton VanAmberg made a nice play on a ball hit back at him to get the runner out at home.

The next batter hit a shallow fly ball to right field to Danny Desilets, who after making the catch fired the ball to VanAmberg who threw to catcher Matt Gale to cut down the runner at the plate.

Vogie put up three runs in the first thanks to a walk, two singles and a triple by Matt Gale. After giving up those three runs in the first, the Rams pitching staff struck out nine batters over the next four innings.

Led by a complete game three-hitter by Josh Land, the East Greenwich Avengers surged past the Rams of LaSalle, 7-1.

In addition, Land help himself with a pair of rbi hits.

Offensively, EG was led by Danny Prior (3 for 4, 3 rbi’s) and Evan Greenberg (2/3, 2 rbi’s).

Salzillo went 2 for 3 with a triple for the Rams.

Led by the solid pitching of Ty Condon, West Warwick was able to squeak by East Greenwich, 4-1. Condon, who pitched the first six innings, struck out six batters and allowed just four hits. Out of 71 pitches thrown, he threw 53 strikes.

Dominic Carollo struck out two batters in the seventh inning to pick up the save.

In the bottom of the first inning, WWCM scored two runs on rbi hits by Chase Joubert, scoring Sean White, who led off the game with a walk, and Sammy Corrado.

Quinn singled, advanced to third on an errant pick-off attempt and scored on an infield hit by Kyle DaSilva to build a 3-0 lead after three innings.

In the top of the fourth inning, Conrad Swanson double with two outs and scored on a Dan Prior single down the left field line.

West Warwick received an insurance run in the bottom of the fourth when Calvin Battersby reached on an infield hit, stole second and scored on an rbi single by Carollo.

Flood Ford gave Vogie of Mt. Hope their first loss of the year, 7-4. It was Flood’s second win in a row.

Devyn Glenn picked up the victory and Connor Kennedy pitched in relief to nail down the victory.

Trailing 4-2, Flood rallied with a five runs in the sixth inning. Key hits were delivered by Xavier Quezada (rbi double) and Chris Manzo (rbi single).

Owen Leahy and Jay Pilderian each had two hits, while Chris Manzo led the team by going 3/3/ with one double
