Led by the combined one-hit pitching of Evan Greenberg, Owen Drolet and Vin Purcell, East Greenwich beat Tiverton, 10-1.

Offensively, the Avengers were led by Sean Gianelli (three hits and three rbi’s), Evan Greenberg (three hits) and Drolet (two hits).

It was a tale of two “Jakes” in Cranston’s 12-2 victory over the Rams of LaSalle.

While Jacob Chin provided the offense, Jake Latek providing the pitching in the Bulldogs latest win.

Chin had a career day at the plate going 3/3 with two triples, one double and four runs scored.

After pitching out of a jam in the second inning, Latek pitched six strong innings.

Led by the strong pitching of Noah Burdick, Westerly defeated Chariho, 8-1 in Connie Mack play.

Burdick, allowed just one on three hits while striking out ten batters in five innings pitched.

In addition, Burdick, added two singles and a triple at the plate. Travis DeLuca also added three hits.

Kyan Deluca pitched two innings of scoreless relief.

Vogie moved into first place with a 7-3 win over Coventry. The Mt. Hope based team is 10-1 on the year.

The Bulldogs of Westerly received five strong innings of pitching from Jackson Shaffer, coupled with an 11-hit attack and were able to hold back Slocum Baseball, 12-9.

Bozek, McAllister, Pearson, Shaffer and Varas all had multiple hits for Westerly.

For Slocum, Campion, Lincoln and Garnello also had multiple hit games.
