Good Evening Folks, it was discovered today that there were 4 half ice games not added to our schedule for the first two weeks of January, just wanted to give you all the heads up that they have been added and we have updated the teams schedule. Let me know if you have any questions.

Good Morning Folks, on behalf the coaching staff I wanted to set a couple of ground rules for game time.

• Please arrive to the arena at least 30 minutes before the game, if your child ever plays rep hockey this will soon become up to 1.5 hours before the game.
• I would ask that all parents be clear of the dressing room at least 15 minutes before game time, this will give the coaching staff the opportunity to motivate the kids and provide them with specific coaching points. These coaching points are mostly setting expectations of behaviour, hard work and sportsmanship for game time.
• I would also ask that the parents allow the coaching staff to debrief with the children after each game. Once we are complete we will invite the parents into the dressing room to help them undress. Once again this allows us to reinforce our expectations and set individual goals for kids that require additional coaching.
• In the event that your child may not make the game, please let the coaching staff know, We may affiliate Timbits players to ensure we have a full roster.

Good Afternoon Folks, My name is Curtis Westcott and I have volunteered to coach our child’s hockey team for the 2019-2020 season. As you may or not know the draft was held on Monday evening and there will be 3 Timmins based teams in the division. I did want to send a formal notice but unfortunately I am presently on the road in Fort Francis until next week on unexpected business. I wanted to take the time to give you all a little information about myself. I was born in TIMMINS and played hockey from the age of 8 until my second year midget, I have been involved as a trainer / assistant coach with my other children’s teams for the last 6 years. I and my wife have 3 other children playing organized hockey in TMHA with our middle son playing for the AA Atom Team. Graciously my wife has volunteered to be the team manager, but we will be looking for as much additional help as possible. Our Team will have 12 skaters and 1 Goalie, I am hopeful to get 3-4 additional parents to add to the coaching staff. With this said I am away until mid next week and would be looking for volunteers to assist with our two first practices that occur on Friday and Sunday. I apologize for the late notice in advance. If you are interested in joining the staff, please reach out to myself or wife presently copied on this email. With this said, I would be hoping to have someone run the practises in my absence this week. Please let me know if you can assist.
