Ryan Luethy, 2006 'Winter Classic' Information

Former All-State Falcon star Ryan Luethy had
17 points for Evangel University(24-11) in a
93-104 loss to Huntington University in the
second round of the NAIA Division II National
Championship Tournament. Luethy got 15 of
his 17 points in the second half. This was his
last college game. The Crusaders finished the
regular season ranked 20th in the Nation!
Ryan led the nation in free throw shooting (83
-91 / 91.2%) in 2004-2005. Ryan finished as
the second all-time leader in three-point shots
made at Evangel and 12th on the all-time career
scoring list with nearly 1,400 points.
2007 Glendale 'Winter Classic' team Blue
Valley West(16-7) lost in the quarterfinals of
the KS Class 5-A State Tournament to
McPherson 43-45. 05-06 Falcon opponent
Topeka(KS.) Highland Park(21-4) lost to
Nationally-ranked Great Bend 48-62 in the KS
Class 5-A State Title game. 2006 Glendale
'Winter Classic' teams SM East(17-8) won
12 of their 14 games after playing in our
event, but lost to Wichita Northwest 51-53 in
the KS Class 6-A State Championship game.
SM West(16-7) lost to Dodge City 51-61
in the Kansas 6-A Quarterfinals.
2006 Glendale 'Winter Classic' teams finished
with a combined record of 138-65 (.68%)!
