2007-08 Glendale Basketball Season Good & Bad

Good:
- Winning the 5th Annual Parkview Basketball
Tournament - First regular season tournament title
since Blue & Gold championship in Dec. of 2004.
- Winning Nelson Division of William Jewell
Tournament - Defeating would-be state ranked Liberty and
Kearney in the process.
- Winning 20 games - 19th 20-win season in school history!
- Keeping our 12-year streak of being the 1st or 2nd
seed in the District Tournament alive!
Bad:
- Losing to Kickapoo for the 11th straight time.
- Finishing outside of the top two in the Ozark
Conference for the first time in eight years and only the
second time in the last 12 years.
- Losing to Springfield R-12 teams Hillcrest and Central -
First to a non-Kickapoo city team in eight years.
