Glendale High School...
In 1961, it was recommended to the Board of
Education that a new high school was needed due
to a growing population in the southeast portion of
the city. Glendale Senior High School opened in
1963 and has gone through several expansions
over the years. The student population has settled
between 1,400-1,500 students today, but Glendale
has seen upwards of 2,300 students fill the hallways.
