1963 - 1964 Glendale Basketball Season, Part I (NEW!)

January 24th, 1963...
38-year old Jack J. Roberts, former Head Coach
at Camdenton High School 1948 through 1956,
is named Glendale Senior High's first Head Basketball Coach!

Coach Roberts comments about getting the job:
"I'm actually a fast-break man with reservations.
I just imagine we'll try to strike a happy medium
with a fast-break and moderate ball control.
I'll certainly do everything I can to give Glendale
a sound basketball program."
