Coach Mo Basketball

While most of team-mates were on spring break or spring term, a group of Phoenix Christian's finest underclassmen participated in our annual invitational at Phoenix College. Domoneek Staten and Bianca Marchand competed in the sprints and hurdles as they prepare for the second half of the season. Both are expected to be key players as the girls team seeks respect in the tough 2A metro. Marchand placed 7th overall in the 100. She placed 13th out of 48 in the 200 with her best time of the year in all three events. Staten has taken well to the challenge of the hurdles. She placed 7th overall, not bad since she spent the past week in a boxing class as part of spring term. The trio of Tyse VanHofwegen, John Vewrmeer and Naje' Singleton all ran well in the 800. A three freshmen fared well against mostly upperclassmen.
