It’s Time For Fall Ball
Yes, we just finished hosting post-season tournaments at Cadman this week, but believe it or not, it’s time to get ready for Fall Ball.
Fall Ball is our fun, instructional season, with games played on Sunday afternoons from September-November. Teams generally practice once a week, and this is a great opportunity for kids who will be moving up to a new division in the Spring, or who would like to learn new positions or practice new skills they learned this past season.
First signups for Fall Ball will be on Saturday, August 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clairemont Family Day at South Clairemont Park & Rec. Come find our booth and get your kids signed up. You can download the forms you need from the attachment below (2019 Fall Ball.pdf). Cost is just $40 for Farm & older players, and just $30 for T-Ball and Rookie kids. T-Ball and Rookie (ages 4-7 next year) will have a combination of clinics and games in September & October.
PLUS: If you signup a player on August 3rd, you’ll receive* two free tickets to the August 11 S.D. Padres-Colorado Rockies game* (a $44 value). Tickets are available while supply lasts, and additional tickets can be purchased for just $10 each. What a deal!
If you can’t make it on August 3rd, we will have two additional signup opportunities: Saturday, August 10 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Cadman Park (prior to the Movie in the Park showing of The Sandlot), and Saturday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturday, June 22 is a big day, as all three of our All-Star teams will be in action, and we begin hosting the first of two tournaments at Cadman Park.
Our Majors All-Stars get underway by playing against Peninsula, at Peninsula, at 10 a.m.
Then, our Intermediate All-Stars square off against Point Loma in the semifinal round of their tournament in Mira Mesa.
And finally, our 8-10 All-Stars open their tournament campaign with a 3 p.m. matchup against Point Loma at Cadman Park.
The 8-10 tournament starts with 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. games in the morning, followed by a Challenger division game at 12:30. All three of these games will be at our park, where we will be hosting the District tournament until July 6, followed by the Section tournament from July 13-17.
Come out and lend a hand, or get out and support one or more of our teams. It’s a day to show your Hilltopper pride!
