The 9-10 SB All-Star team is off to a great start in the 2009 District 9 tournament.  On Sunday, July 5th, Mercer Island opened up play vs. Snoqualmie Valley and delivered a convincing 14-4 victory in 4 innings behind the strong pitching of Anna Gallagher.  Anna was supported by several excellent defensive plays from the entire infield - Caroline Boissoneault, Kailee Yan, Kayla Tsang, Kayla Varney and Nalani Ogawa.  Every player scored at least once and our lead off batter (Kailee Yan) scored 3 times. 

The team returns to action on Friday, at 6pm, at Everest Field in Kirkland (Note:  new day/time).
