Dear MILL Members,
I hope everyone has enjoyed a safe, peaceful summer with family and friends. The school year will be commencing shortly. At this juncture, many of our youth are participating within organized youth athletics. We look forward to a fantastic fall season throughout Brevard.
We have terrific news to forward to our Merritt Island baseball community. Williamsport, Little League Incorporated, ratified the “deferred” merger with MILL and NMILL! Our District Administrator recently forwarded the news. Merritt Island will unite and become one little league community. Committee meetings will congregate next week to revise and approve the required little league documents. League directors will take office October 1st.
Please embrace this fantastic opportunity upon our children and community. We will need your undivided support throughout this tedious process. It is paramount we forward a cooperative effort for the betterment of our youth. We, adults, must demonstrate exemplary conduct to ensure a successful transition. There is a tremendous amount of planning ahead. Your participation and cooperation is appreciated. If you would like to serve our community, and give your time, please contact me directly.
