Game Summary: On a cold night where hits were a premium, Wilson’s and Bailey’s had a classic pitchers duel between starter Greg Enos and Alec Bedard. Wilson’s struck first in the 2nd when Remy Leduc go on by an error, went advance to second on a single by Greg and stole third before a walk loaded the bases. Remy scored on a pass ball. Wilson’s got 2 more runs in the 3rd on 2 straight walks, a fielder’s choice to get the runner at second and with runners on first and third, Josh doubled to left center scoring both runners. Bailey’s got their lone run in the 3rd on a single by DJ, who stole second and scored on a single by Steve Santos who was caught stealing by catcher Casey at second base to end the inning. Joe Craven relieved Alec in the 4th and got a strike out to end the 4th. Wilson’s got to Joe in the 5th when he got wild and after striking out the lead off batter, he walked the next 3 but got a pop out to second to get 2 outs. He they got wild and walked the next 2 to force in the final 2 runs. Greg, returning from an injury that kept him out for the last 6 games, was relieved after 1 batter in the 4th by Patrick who induced a double play to Evan at SS who stepped on second base and throw to first base. Cody Tompkins relieved Joe in the 5th and got the final 4 outs on 2 Ks, a single, a FC and a fly out to left. Bailey’s put a rally together in the bottom of the 6th on a single by DJ, an error by Evan put runners on first and second but Patrick finished off the game with 3 straight Ks.
