News and Announcements

It's not how hard you throw, it's how well you throw strikes. Wickford Little Leaguers take notice of Steven Wright from the Boston Red Sox. Changing speeds, hitting locations on the inside and outside corners, being in a good fielding position after the pitch is thrown. Throwing strikes keeps your fielders alert and in the game. And pitchers, help your team out by throwing strikes and fielding your position.

Games Postponed for Wednesday, May 4th

Posted by Dan Quarella at May 5, 2016 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

All games are postponed tonight, Friday May 6th

Games will be made up at a later date.

Here is some additional information regarding the 2016 Picture Day at Wilson Park:

1. Please make every attempt to be at the photographer at the scheduled time. It is a tight schedule, but the photographer said he can take care of 6 teams per hour.

2. I tried to have all team photos taken prior to their games that day, however with A and Tee Ball, some are set up after their games since they are traveling from Fuerer Park.

3. There are several teams that have a bye that day.  If your team has a bye,  you are still scheduled to be photographed on Saturday.

4. The photo envelopes will be put above the concession stand for coaches to hand out to parents.

5. If the photographer gets backed up that day, I have listed the game times on the schedule so the photographer knows which teams are more pressing to get photographed due to pending games.
