Great weekend... We were not even full force and some were a little shell shocked but we still walked away with lots of hardware. Next year we will be deeper and stronger so we get more.
Junior Olympic State Championships will be held at Mesa Community College on June 16th & 17th starting at 7:00 am on both days with a split schedule on Saturday. Please let me know if you are NOT participating. This is a qualifying meet for Regionals. Top 4 in each event will advance on.
Starting Tuesday, June 5th, practice will begin at 6:30 PM. Parents please be on time with drop off and pick up!!! It is super HOT now so please make sure your athlete is drinking WATER, WATER, WATER oh yeah and more WATER. Not just at practice or when it is time for practice. All day... keep reminding them to drink water even on days with no practice. Gotta work? Call or Send a text... just make sure they are getting it in. Kids were cramping up last week.
NO SWIMMING OR PLAYING IN POOLS STARTING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13TH UNTIL SUNDAY, JUNE 17TH AFTER THE TRACK MEET. Then you can swim away.
Its crunch time and we need to start getting mentally and physically ready to compete at the next level.
STARTING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6TH, WE WILL START HAVING PRACTICE MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AT 6:30. THIS PRACTICE IS ESPECIALLY FOR RELAYS, JUMPS, THROWS, etc. BUT ALL ARE WELCOME.
