The Pappo Restaurant A's finished as runners up in the District 4 Tournament of Champions as they fell 5-1 to the Pirates from Walnut Creek Friday night. Joe Depinna pitched five innings, relinquishing 5 runs. Joe also scored Alameda's sole run with an over-the-fence home run. Jackson Rodriguez pitched scoreless relief. The A's families and friends made a strong showing, outnumbering the Walnut Creek contingent.
