Hillside Inn rode a 3-0 second period lead to victory in the deciding game of the championship series. The 3rd period was scoreless as the CRC Bandits were unable to gain enough momentum to chip away at the lead.
It took two overtime periods in the first game of the series before Hillside Inn tallied the winning goal on a rebound. That game ended with a score of 3-2.
Hillside Inn earned a 20-4-2 record to win first place in the regular season. After losing their first play-off game, they won the next five games to sweep the semi-final and championship series. The CRC Bandits had a strong finish to the regular season, taking third place. They earned their spot in the championship series with a tough three game series victory in the semi-finals.
