Congratulations to our Sachem Challengers, their families, Roger Smith and his great coaching staff.
The Sachem Challengers have been officially invitedto compete in the New York State Special Olympic Games inSenecca Falls , New York, this October 1-3.
The Sachem Challengers are 1 of 2 teams representing the Long Island Region. This is their 3rd invitation and appearance in the past 5 years. Previously invited in '07,'08 and now '10. In '07 and '08 they were SilverMedalist. This Saturday September 11th, the Challengers will be competing in the Regional Games inHicksville , N.Y. They are last years Gold Medal Winners and enter this tournament as the team to beat.
