Ticket PickUp for Little League Day A's Game In The Gomes Zone
Little League Day at the Oakland Coliseum will be a lot of fun. There will be 140 fans in The Gomes Zone! I will contact you tomorrow about ticket pickup which will be at the PALL Major Snack Shack on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon. Ticket for The Gomes Zone are sold out, but you can still buy game tickets directly from the A's. We're in Sections 104 and 105 it you want to try to get tickets nearby.

The Oakland A's and PALL are teaming up to bring Little League families a VERY special event on Sunday, April 29th. It's Little League Day at McAfee Coliseum and... the A's are playing the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Petaluma's own Jonny Gomes is a Devil Ray. How cool is that! In addition to being a Major Leaguer who placed third in the 2005 American League Rookie of the Year balloting, Jonny sponsors three Petaluma Little League Teams. Yeah Jonny! Bring your family to the game and sit in The Gomes Zone to enjoy some good baseball with PTown friends and support a local kid that made it all the way to The Show! You gotta act fast. The deadline has been extended until Sunday evening, April 22nd. The A's are knocking $10 off the ticket price especially for PTown Fans. Our field level tickets right behind the Rays bullpen are just $22.50!
We have set up an Active.com credit card payment process to make ticket purchase easier for you and... well, OK... for me. Active.com is the organization that hosts our PALL Website and makes online registration possible. They charge a small fee for the convenience of credit card payment, but it's a LOT less than the usual MLB on line ticketing fees! Last year, 350 of us sat together to cheer for Jonny and the (R)A(Y)'s. Jonny and his teammates signed autographs and made the day very special for Little Leaguers and their parents.
Jonny is in a hard fought battle for the Rays DH position this year. A number of young rookies have their eye on Jonny's Outfield and DH positions. Now for the fine print... This is a baseball game so there's no guarantee that Jonny will play :-( BUT... the more fans we send, the more Karma points work in his favor! Also, bad weather is a rare occurrence in Oakland, but in the event of a rainout, you will own tickets to another A's game.
