Danny Clifford passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Oct. 4th. Danny exemplified Little League volunteerism. Danny will be missed.
As we round the corner on winter and begin to think about baseball again. One of the major rule changes Little League announced last year was the implication of the pitch count.

There will be a meeting of League presidents, tournament managers/coaches and umpires to go over the tournament rule differences on Monday June 25th at the Veazie school beginning at 5:30 p.m.. Anyone who is interested in umpiring tournament games should attend this meeting.
Welcome to the Maine District Three Little League Umpires Association website. The association was created to help organize and provide training opportunities for umpire of all experience levels. Whether you are in your first year or an experienced veteran umpire the association is for you.
Umpires, league officials, managers and coaches are invited to take part in the website. Here you will find the latest rule updates and information. A message board where you can post any rules or umpire mechanics questions that you may have.
Umpires are encouraged to become members of the association by filling out the membership form so their name is added to the district umpire roster and they will be contacted about upcoming meetings and clinics and various umpiring opportunities around the district.
Each local league has a page within our site that the local league U-I-C can post information about the league such as, local league rules, dates umpires are needed and much more. (If you don’t see your league in this section it’s because I don’t have your league U-I-C’s name)
