On 6/21 Junior Police moved to the finals of the losers bracket by defeating Bailey's 7-5. Bailey's took a 3-0 lead in the top half of the first inning. Hits by Dean Streich, Dalin Smith and Steve Santos opened the scoring for Bailey's. JP answered in the bottom of the first with 6 runs with hits by Chad Mansolillo,Bobby Daly and Cam Lamarre coupled with walks to Nic Mongeon,Tyler Chabot and Joey Cicchetti.
After giving up 3 runs in the first Nic Mongeon of JP limited Bailey's to just one run over the next 3 innings before giving way to Hurteau in the 5th. Cam Lamarre came on in the 6th to preserve the lead over Bailey's who rallied for 1 run before losing 7-5. After losing its first game in the tournament Bailey's came back to win 2 games in the losers bracket finishing the tournament at 2 wins with 2 loses for a 4th place finish.
Junior Police is now 3 wins with 1 loss and faces Dave's Mkt. on Mon. 6/22 5:30pm in the losers bracket final. The winner advances to play undefeated Elmwood on 6/23.
