Patriot Family and Friends,
A few weeks ago, we lost a friend, a member of our community and a very dedicated La Mesa National parent.
J.R Provencher, who was a fixture around the league as his son played through all the divisions and is now playing with the Patriot League, passed away.
For those of you that never had the pleasure of meeting him, J.R. was a retired police officer, terrific photgrapher ( he even carried the title of "Official" photographer of one of the LMN 9-10 All Star teams) and quick with a funny story- and he had many funny stories.
J.R. leaves behind his wonderful wife Jean, a beautiful daughter and a fine young man of a son.
The Provencher family will be Celebrating the Life of J.R. this Saturday July 13th at 3:00 pm.
They would like to extend the invitation to everyone that knew him and spent so many happy days with him at the ballpark to join them in this Celebration.
