Frederick Hustlers 11u offense too much for the Chesapeake Vipers (North) in 20-0 rout

Frederick Hustlers 11u beat the Chesapeake Vipers 20-0 in three innings on Saturday at Hershey, PA after a 13-run explosion in the first inning. Frederick Hustlers 11u scored in the first on a passed ball, a passed ball, a two-run error, an RBI single by DJ Eby, a two-run double by Brooks Aleshire, an error, a two-run single by Isaiah Dillenger, an RBI single by Gates Griffin, an RBI single by Andrew Stroka, and an RBI double by David Karszen. Frederick Hustlers 11u hit three home runs in the win. Home runs for Frederick Hustlers 11u came when DJ homered in the second inning, Isiah homered in the second inning, and David homered in the third inning. Frederick Hustlers 11u pounded the Chesapeake Vipers pitching, as seven hitters combined for 15 hits, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Frederick Hustlers 11u built upon its lead with four runs in the second. DJ started the inning with a solo home run. That was followed up by Isiah's three-run blast, bringing home Brooks and Justin Lynch. Frederick Hustlers 11u piled on three more runs in the top of the third. David homered, bringing home Andrew to start the inning. That was followed up by Brooks' single, plating Tyler Michael.

Frederick Hustlers 11u fell 15-12 to the Southwest Orioles 11u in six innings on Sunday at Southwest Orioles despite racking up 11 hits and 12 runs. Justin Lynch reached base four times. He singled in the fourth inning. Four relief pitchers finished off the game for the Southwest Orioles 11u. Kittay faced one batter in relief, while Coxon managed to record three outs to aid the victory. Frederick Hustlers 11u jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Andrew Stroka got things going for Frederick Hustlers 11u with a single. The Southwest Orioles 11u scored four runs in the second inning, and then followed it up with four more in the third. In the second, the Southwest Orioles 11u scored on an RBI triple by Khan, scoring Liszewski. One run in the top of the fifth helped Frederick Hustlers 11u close its deficit to 8-6. A passed ball triggered Frederick Hustlers 11u's comeback. Aiden Joseph struck out to end the Frederick Hustlers 11u threat. The Southwest Orioles 11u quickly matched Frederick Hustlers 11u's strong inning with a seven-run inning of their own in the fifth. The Southwest Orioles 11u scored on an RBI single by Liszewski, an RBI triple by Khan, a groundout by Wineki, a two-run double by Mckay, an RBI triple by Picket, and an error. Six runs in the top of the sixth helped Frederick Hustlers 11u close its deficit to 15-12. An RBI single by Gates Griffin, a two-run single by Andrew, a groundout by Tyler Michael, and a two-run double by DJ Eby sparked Frederick Hustlers 11u's rally. Coxon got the last out, as Frederick Hustlers 11u's Aiden struck out.

With Frederick Hustlers 11u trailing by two, Kyle Brown came to the plate and doubled, bringing home Aiden Joseph, Justin Lynch and Gates Griffin. Kyle racked up five RBIs on two hits for Frederick Hustlers 11u. Offense was not hard to come by on on Sunday, as both teams combined for 24 runs and 19 hits, including seven extra base hits. There were six pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off. Aiden racked up three RBIs on two hits for Frederick Hustlers 11u. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning. The Southwest Orioles 11u jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the top of the first. Mckay got things going for the Southwest Orioles 11u with a single. Kittay singled, plating Picket. The Southwest Orioles 11u pushed more runs across when Mckay scored on a passed ball, Kittay scored on an RBI single, another scored on a walk by Khan, Khan scored on an RBI double by Wineki, and Liberto and Geber scored on a two-run single by Mckay. Frederick Hustlers 11u never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning. The runs piled on thanks to two doubles and an RBI single by DJ Eby. Frederick Hustlers 11u built upon its lead with three runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when DJ doubled, scoring Tyler Michael. That was followed up by Aiden's two-run home run, plating DJ.

Hot bats not enough, Frederick Hustlers 11u succumbs to Spooky Nook Baseball 11u, 11-10

Fourteen hits weren't enough for Frederick Hustlers 11u as it lost a shootout, 11-10 in six innings, to Spooky Nook Baseball 11u on Saturday at Yellow Springs Elem. School. Gates Griffin racked up four RBIs on three hits for Frederick Hustlers 11u. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings. The top of the first saw Frederick Hustlers 11u take an early lead, 1-0. Isiah Dillenger got things going for Frederick Hustlers 11u with a single. A stolen base then moved Isiah from first to second. Gates singled, bringing home Isiah. The game's last lead went to Spooky Nook Baseball 11u thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a groundout by Nick and two singles. One run in the top of the second helped Frederick Hustlers 11u close its deficit to 3-2. A solo home run by David Karszen fueled Frederick Hustlers 11u's comeback. Finally, Colin induced an inning-ending strike out from Brooks Aleshire. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u pushed across two runs in both the third inning and the fifth. In the third, Spooky Nook Baseball 11u scored on a two-run single by Taso, plating Colin and Kyle. Two runs in the top of the fourth helped Frederick Hustlers 11u close its deficit to 5-4. An error and triggered Frederick Hustlers 11u's comeback. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u stopped the rally after Colin got Aiden Joseph to ground out. It didn't take long for Spooky Nook Baseball 11u to answer as it scored four runs of its own in the fourth. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u scored on an error, a two-run home run by Christian, and a solo home run by Nick. After pushing across three runs in the top of the fifth, Frederick Hustlers 11u faced just a 9-7 deficit. An RBI single by Isiah and a two-run home run by Gates set off Frederick Hustlers 11u rally. Brooks flew out to end the Frederick Hustlers 11u threat. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u tacked on another two runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Taso singled, plating Kyle to kick things off. After pushing across three runs in the top of the sixth, Frederick Hustlers 11u faced just a 11-10 deficit. An RBI single by Gates and a two-run single by Andrew Stroka fueled Frederick Hustlers 11u's comeback. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u closed the game out after a hard battle by the Hustlers.

Frederick Hustlers 11u and PG Select Blue 11u exchanged the lead seven times on Saturday, but Frederick Hustlers 11u ended up on top with a 5-4 win in six innings over PG Select Blue 11u. Frederick Hustlers 11u finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. Frederick Hustlers 11u scored on an RBI single by David Karszen off K. Clark, scoring Kyle Brown. Isiah Dillenger racked up two RBIs on one hit for Frederick Hustlers 11u. He homered in the third inning. The bottom of the first saw Frederick Hustlers 11u take an early lead, 2-0. The Frederick Hustlers 11u attack began with a single from Justin Lynch. A stolen base then moved Justin from first to second. Gates Griffin doubled, bringing home Justin. Frederick Hustlers 11u pushed more runs across when Gates scored on a groundout by Kyle. Frederick Hustlers 11u got one-run boosts in each of the third, fifth and sixth. In the third, Frederick Hustlers 11u scored on a solo home run by Isiah. It didn't take long for Frederick Hustlers 11u to respond as it scored one run of its own in the sixth.
