Frederick Hustlers 11u loses Spooky Nook Baseball 11u 5-0

Andrew Stroka did his best to change the outcome, but Andrew couldn't pilot Frederick Hustlers 11u past Spooky Nook Baseball 11u as Frederick Hustlers 11u lost 5-0 in six innings at Spooky Nook on Saturday. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u had no answer for Andrew, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Andrew held Spooky Nook Baseball 11u hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none. Spooky Nook Baseball 11u never surrendered the lead after the second inning, scoring two runs on an error.

Frederick Hustlers 11u gives away 14-13 game to Arena Starz

Frederick Hustlers 11u led by seven runs in the second inning, but Arena Starz put together a furious comeback to steal the victory, 14-13, on Sunday at Elkridge. Izaiah Dillenger racked up four RBIs on three hits for Frederick Hustlers 11u. He singled in the first and second innings and homered in the fourth inning. Arena Starz was sparked by Gaetano G and Stefan G, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs. The top of the first saw Arena Starz take an early lead, 1-0. A single by Gaetano, bringing home Andrew W started the inning off. Frederick Hustlers 11u survived Arena Starz's surge and put up eight runs of its own in the first. Frederick Hustlers 11u scored on an RBI single by Izaiah, an RBI single by Alex Miller, a sacrifice fly by Andrew Stroka, an RBI double by David Karszen, a two-run single by Brooks Aleshire, and a two-run single by Aiden Joseph. Arena Starz never trailed after scoring five runs in the sixth on three singles.

Izaiah Dillenger leads Frederick Hustlers 11u to 8-5 victory

An impressive two-way performance from Izaiah Dillenger led Frederick Hustlers 11u to a 8-5 win Saturday over Baltimore Redbirds, as Izaiah came up huge at the dish and on the rubber. Izaiah was hot from the plate for Frederick Hustlers 11u. Izaiah went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and second innings and tripled in the third inning. Izaiah baffled Baltimore Redbirds, striking out five batters. Frederick Hustlers 11u's pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only five hits. The game was never in doubt after the first, as Frederick Hustlers 11u scored three runs on an RBI single by Alex Miller and a two-run triple by Kyle Brown. Frederick Hustlers 11u piled on four more runs in the top of the second. A passed ball scored Justin Lynch for the inning's first run. A four-run fifth inning helped bring Baltimore Redbirds within four. An error, an RBI single by Wilhelm, an RBI single by Matanguihan, and an error gave Baltimore Redbirds life. Andrew Stroka ended the inning by getting Kutcher to ground out. One Baltimore Redbirds run crossed the plate in the bottom half of the sixth, making the score 8-5. An error set off Baltimore Redbirds rally. Baltimore Redbirds' Tores flew out to end the ballgame.

Calvert Cutters beats Frederick Hustlers 11u 14-8 thanks to big comeback

Frederick Hustlers 11u led by five runs in the third inning, but Calvert Cutters put together a furious comeback to steal the victory, 14-8, on Saturday at Elkridge. Calvert Cutters' Contee, Wright, Downing and Laur combined for eight hits and six RBIs. Frederick Hustlers 11u quickly matched Calvert Cutters' strong inning with a one-run inning of its own in the first. Frederick Hustlers 11u scored on an error. After a quick strike from Calvert Cutters, Frederick Hustlers 11u responded with two runs in the third. Frederick Hustlers 11u scored on an RBI single by Justin Lynch and a fielder's choice. Calvert Cutters never trailed after scoring seven runs in the fourth on a two-run double by Mclain, an error, and a two-run single by Contee. Calvert Cutters built upon its lead with three runs in the fifth. A single by Jefferson ignited the offense, bringing home Downing.

Frederick Hustlers 11u drubs Catoctin Baseball Club 11u, 16-5

Catoctin Baseball Club 11u didn't put up much of a fight on Sunday, as Frederick Hustlers 11u cruised to a blowout 16-5 win in five innings at Yellow Springs Elem. School. Frederick Hustlers 11u scored six runs in the fifth on a passed ball, an RBI single by Aiden Joseph, a two-run single by Gates Griffin, an error, and a passed ball. Gates boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace Frederick Hustlers 11u. Frederick Hustlers 11u went up for good in the third, scoring six runs on a two-run error, a groundout by Andrew Stroka, and an RBI single by Izaiah Dillenger. Frederick Hustlers 11u tacked on another three runs in the fourth. A clutch error scored Brooks Aleshire to open the scoring in the frame.
