District 57 has started to gather most of our pins from over the years..... we will start to post them on the site. We have many "pin" collectors.... and our D57 "Chevy" pin is a favorite from CA to Williamsport.
2010 - pins.... 2 new "57" Chevy's..... we went with the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners colors..... This now brings this "chevy" collection to 24 colors..... for 2011 -- we will round out the western part of the USA with MLB colors: Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks....
2012 -- we have pink/white and navy/pink
Note - look at the pin board on the site... it pretty well gives you the colors.... the very first "car" pins made had the state of CA in the background - and they were navy and pink.
How about old / original pins... the "medfly"; small 57 bottle; mt diablo; state of ca w/57...... those were the originals.... very difficult to find those.
Our initial posting will be a "pin" board.... and stay tuned.... we'll become better at it...... My personal thanks to my very good friend - Gerald Loomis with Wilson Trophy (Sacramento) who certainly is the "artist" behind our pins. I hope that you enjoy!!!!
