The boys team ran away with the win against Mid Valley by a score of 105-45.  Winners included Gavin O'Donnell (Triple jump, 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles) Nathan Morgan (mile), Mark Arzie (800), Casey Albino (400, long jump), Dante DeAntonio (shot and jav), Willie Demyan (Discus), Jake Noldy (Pole Vault), Chet Anuszewski (high jump), 4x800 (Krieger, Davis, Baigis, Luke).  The wins sets up a championship meet against 5-0 Dunmore on Monday. 

The girls team also moved to 5-0. Kayla Agentowicz set a school record in the 800m with a time of 2:25.0.  The freshman now owns the 800 record in Jr. High and Varsity!  The girls will face 4-1 Dunmore on Monday. 

Madison Harding and Brooke Estadt again lead the way as Lakeland girl's JH team beat Mid Valley by a score of 106-13.  Harding won the 110h, 400, 4x4, and ties the school record in the high jump with a jump of 4-10.  Brooke Estadt won the 100, 200, Long, and Triple.  Other winners included Elena Tomcykoski (1600, 800, 4x4), Cassie Stracham (300H, 4x4), Marina Contorno (Shot, 4x8), and Carolyn Cortes (Discus).  Lakeland also swept the relays.  Relay members include: 4x8 (Krzan, Chervanka, Ruddy, Contorno), 4x1 (Berghausser, Vaverchak, Hlavaty, Calachino), 4x4 (Stracham, Tomcykoski, Vaverchak, Harding).  The girls improve to 3-0 and will be competing in the Abington Invite on Saturday. 

 The boys JH team went to 3-0 with a 107-16 win over Mid-Valley.  Colin Cooper continued his solid undefeated season with wins in the 100,200,400,4x4.  Mike Arzie (4x8, 1600, 800) and Mike Lowry (110H, 4x4, 4x1) added 3 wins a piece.   Other winners include Nick Ciccio (300H), Josh Wayman (Shot), Connor Albino (Discus), Lucas Snedeker (Long Jump), Sam Morgan (Triple Jump).  Lakeland boys swept all three relays.  Relay team members include 4x8 (Babcanec, Setta, Nichols, Arzie), 4x1 (Paulino, Schwartztrauber, Babcanec, Lowry), 4x4 (Lowry, Graeme Nichols,Sean Axtell,Cooper).  The boys move to 3-0 and will be right in the hunt at the Abington Invite Saturday.  

All four Lakeland teams continues their undefeated season against previously unbeaten Blue Ridge.  The varsity boys won 120-30.  Winners included: Gavin O'Donnell (110h, 300h, Triple Jump) Tim Hackenberg (100), Mark Arzie (1600, 800, 4x4), Casey Albino (200, 400, 4x4), Dante DeAntonio (Shot, Jav), Billy Thomas (Disc), Garth Estadt (Long Jump), Chet Anuszewski (high jump), Jake Noldy (Pole Vault), 4x100 (Smith, Hackenberg, Domonoski, Estadt), 4x4 (O'Donnell, Arzie, Newberry, Albino).  The boys move to 4-0 and will be @ Misericordia Invite on Friday night. 

 The varsity girls won by a score of 123.3 to 18.3.  Results not turned in.

The Junior High Girls won by a score of 90-23.  Winners included Madison Harding-4 wins (100h,300h,HJ,4x4), Brooke Estadt-4 wins (4x4, LJ,TJ, 200), Tomcykoski-3 wins (4x8,800,1600), Contorno-1 win (shot), Carolyn Cortes-1 win (disc), 4x8 (Bullet, Ziobro, Borosky, Tomcykoski), 4x1 (Bergahusser, Vaverchak, Hlavaty, Calachino), 4x4 ( Estadt,  Bullet, Stracham, Harding).  The girls move to 3-0.

The Junior High Boys won 107-15. Winners included Mike Lowry-3 wins (4x1, 4x4, 100h), Colin Cooper 4 wins (100, 200, 400, 4x4), Mike Arzie- 3 wins (1600, 800, 4x8), Nick Cicio- 1 win (300h) , Luke Snedeker 1 win (Tj), Connor Albino 1 win (Disc), Wayman 1 win (shot), Graham Nichols 3 (4x8 Hj 4x4), 4x8 (Babcanec, Setta, Nichols, Arzie), 4x1 (Paulino, Schwartzstrauber, Babcanec, Lowry), 4x4 ( Lowry, Paulino, Nichols, Cooper).  The girls move to 3-0. 

Cassidy Jenkins was named athlete of the week by the Scranton Times for her performance in the meet against Holy Cross where she broke two of her own school records.  Congratulations Cassidy!!!

Junior High Sweeps Riverside

The boys jr. high team ran away with the meet against Riverside by a score of 99-23.  Colin Cooper and Mike Lowry set the tone with 4 wins a piece.  Cooper won the 100, 200, 400, and 4x4.  Lowry won the high jump, 110 hurdles, and was a part of the winning 4x1 and 4x4 teams.  Other winners on the day included Mike Arzie (4x8, 1600, 800), Nick Cicio (300H), Wayman (Shot), Josh Dippel (Disc).  The boys are now 2-0 and will face Blue Ridge at home Tuesday.

The jr. high girls team dominated to a score of 107-16.  Madison Harding and Brooke Estadt again lead the way with 4 wins a piece.  Harding won the 100, 400, HJ, and anchored the 4x4 to a win.  Estadt won the 100, LJ, TJ, and was also a part of the winning 4x4.  Other winners included Elena Tomcykoski (1600, 4x8, 800), Karlee Vaverchak (200), Cassie Stracham (300H, 4x4), Contorno (Shot), Carolyn Cortes (Disc).  The girls move to 2-0 and will face Blue Ridge Tuesday at home.
